Book of Mormon Haiku: 1 Nephi 13

One group under wrath

Humble reading of the Word

One receives mercy

1 Nephi 13 - Nephi sees in vision: the church of the devil set up among the Gentiles; the discovery and colonizing of America; the loss of many plain and precious parts of the Bible; the resultant state of gentile apostacy; the restoration of the gospel, the coming forth of latter-day scripture, and the building up of Zion.

Nephi sees that Lehi's descendants, having lost all scripture, are under God's wrath. (interesting word, wrath.  See the other English words from the ancient wr)  He sees that the gentiles with the Book are humble and blessed by grace.  Even with many plain and precious parts removed, the Word is a mighty seed.

Dad, I really like your project. They make me think about things a lot.

Thanks for the challenge, too. It's making the Book of Mormon seem richer than ever before.
